Why does ELDEN RING drop to 80 FPS in physics scenes?

Large-scale physics calculations in ELDEN RING pushed my Vastarmor Radeon RX 9070 XT Alloy above 90°C, triggering downclocking that dropped frames from 120 to 80 FPS. I tried adding more case fans, but the noise was high and the temp drop was negligible, leaving me frustrated. I accessed the GamePP Fan Curve Configuration Panel to raise CPU fan speed from 60% to 80% and enabled smart temperature control. GamePP Hardware Sensor Page showed temps dropping to 82°C, and frame times converged to 8-10ms. The stability is finally there.
