Is the Cooler Master B240 causing lag in Banishers?
The response time on this AIO was driving me insane. Every time a complex scene loaded, the CPU would instant-spike, and my FPS would tank to 30—I almost threw my PC. The Cooler Master B240 pump had degraded over time, leading to terrible heat exchange and massive instant heat soak. I tried lowering the CPU TDP via software, but the minimums dropped from 50 to 35 FPS, which was a joke. I ended up flushing it with high-performance coolant and locked the pump to 100% in the BIOS, while also optimizing the case exhaust. In side-by-side tests, temps dropped from 88-94℃ down to 65-72℃. I had a nightmare with air bubbles in the pump after the refill, but tilting the case several times finally cleared it. Power draw is 110-140W with fans at 1500 RPM. It's stable now, though the pump is getting loud in its old age.
