How to fix power delivery lag on Galax H310M in Alan Wake 2?
In heavy ray-tracing scenes, my CPU temp hit a brutal 96°C on HWiNFO, causing the processor to throttle so hard that frames tanked from 60 to 30—absolutely infuriating. It was clear the Galax H310M Warrior D4 default fan response was way too slow, letting heat soak the power phases. I tried lowering the CPU power limit in the BIOS, but while that shaved 8°C off the temp, my 1% lows dropped to 20 FPS, which is just pathetic. I then used the GamePP Fan Curve Config Panel to sharpen the slope between 60°C - 80°C and applied a -0.05V offset to the CPU. On the GamePP Hardware Sensor Page, core temps dropped from 92-98°C to a more manageable 82°C - 88°C via AIDA64, and frames stayed above 50.
