Why is my Noctua NH-D15S struggling in Remnant 2 combat?

Whenever I hit a massive mob of enemies with heavy physics calculations, my frame rate would tank from 90 FPS down to 40 FPS, making the combat feel completely disconnected and out of control. The default fan profile on the Noctua NH-D15S Chromax Black is honestly way too conservative, letting core temps swing wildly between 85 - 92℃, which triggered instant CPU throttling. I first tried toggling 'High Performance' power mode in Windows, but that software tweak did absolutely nothing for the actual heat soak, which was beyond frustrating. I eventually dove into the BIOS Advanced settings and slashed the fan response time from 0.5 seconds down to 0.1 seconds, while manually cranking the fan speed to 100% once it hits 80℃. Checking RivaTuner, the core clocks finally leveled out between 4.8 - 5.1GHz, and frame times tightened up to 12 - 16ms. I did have a bit of a nightmare when I tried an aggressive -0.1V voltage offset; the system just blue-screened the second I loaded a save. I had to dial it back to -0.05V to get it stable. Now, CPU temps sit comfortably at 74 - 79℃ with fan noise staying under 38 dB. Verified the curve in the motherboard utility, and the 12 - 16ms frame time is rock steady.
