Why does the UE5 Matrix Tech Demo drop from 120 to 40 FPS?

I was genuinely anxious when rapid camera pans caused my FPS to plummet from 120 to 40, making the demo feel like a slideshow. I enabled Extreme Performance mode in BIOS, but the system crashed after 10 minutes, which was incredibly discouraging. I then used GamePP Resource Scheduler to maximize memory controller priority and disabled memory compression. Frame times stabilized at 11-16ms per RTSS, with fans at 1400-1600RPM per HWiNFO64.
