Stop CPU Throttling in Warhammer
During massive army clashes, I noticed the CPU temperature spiking to 94-99℃ per AIDA64, causing my frame rate to plummet from 60 to 22 FPS. It totally broke the immersion. I tried setting the fan mode to full speed in the BIOS, but the noise was unbearable and the temperature only dropped by 3℃, which felt like a futile effort. I then used the GamePP Fan Curve Configuration Panel to set a stepped speed increase of 85-100% for the 75-95℃ range, adding a 6℃ hysteresis. CPU temperature stabilized at 74-80℃ per HWMonitor and fan speed remained steady at 1200-1500RPM per HWMonitor, confirming the pain was gone.
