Solving NVMe Read Freezes
I felt absolute despair when entering urban ruins in The Division; the screen would freeze for 2 seconds, killing my combat rhythm. I first tried disabling the system write cache for stability, but loading times actually jumped from 12 to 21 seconds, which was a total fail. I then used the GamePP NVMe Queue Depth Configuration to raise the queue depth from 32 to 128. CrystalDiskMark tests confirmed random 4K reads stabilized at 72-81MB/s, while AIDA64 showed temps at 48-54℃ and GamePP sensors noted latency peaks at 120-150ms.
