Why does Stellar Blade freeze during scene transitions?
Trying to run this beast of a game was a total nightmare at first; the screen would just freeze for a split second, making the controls feel like they were underwater. With only 8GB of ADATA Valueram, I was living on the edge, with RAM usage pinned at 95% - 98% in Resource Monitor, forcing the CPU to lean on a painfully slow HDD swap file. I tried dropping the resolution to 720p, but while the FPS ticked up, those annoying micro-stutters just wouldn't quit. I eventually went into System Properties and locked both the initial and maximum paging file size to 16GB, moving the whole thing to my NVMe SSD partition. In Resource Monitor, the commit charge finally settled from a chaotic 12GB down to a stable 8GB - 10GB range, and my frame time variance dropped from 25ms to about 12ms. I did hit a snag where the system completely hung the first time I locked the values, but a quick reboot and disabling 'Fast Startup' fixed it. RAM temps stayed around 42℃ - 47℃, feeling warm to the touch. Verified the memory map via performance tools, and the load balancing is finally saved.
