Resolving Late-Game Lag

I was totally immersed in my empire until the late game, where every 'End Turn' click caused the screen to freeze abruptly. It was a jarring experience that broke my flow. I first tried forcing High Performance mode in the drivers; while FPS increased slightly, the stuttering frequency actually worsened, leaving me confused. I then used the GamePP Resource Scheduler to raise the game process priority from Normal to Real-time. After this, frame generation time converged to 11-14ms via GamePP Frame Time Analyzer, and GPU temperature stayed at 68-73℃ per GPU-Z, with clocks at 1650-1710MHz per AIDA64. It finally hit 73℃
