Fixing Memory Latency Spikes
I felt totally ripped off when riding through Saint Denis; the sudden load of high-precision models caused severe micro-stutters that broke my immersion. I first tried increasing the virtual memory to 64MB, but it did nothing for the memory bandwidth saturation, leaving me completely confused. Then, I used the GamePP Resource Scheduler to set the game process to Realtime priority and locked critical threads, adjusting voltage from 1.30V to 1.38V via GamePP. RTSS confirmed frame times converged to 9-14ms, while AIDA64 showed memory temperatures stable at 46-52℃ and latency at 88-112ns.
