How to fix SLC cache exhaustion on Zhitai TiPro9000 1TB?
Whenever I fast travel between bases in Palworld, the screen just freezes in the weirdest way. It's baffling because the TiPro9000 should stay above 7000MB/s, but I noticed speeds tanking to 1200-1500MB/s once the SLC cache filled up. I tried bumping my page file to 32GB, but that was a total waste of time—it didn't stop the stutters and actually added 3 seconds to my boot time, which was just frustrating. I eventually installed the latest NVMe controller drivers and flipped the Windows write caching policy to 'Force Flush'. In CrystalDiskMark 4K random read tests, my latency dropped from a shaky 65-82ms down to a rock steady 35-42ms. I actually tried disabling write caching at first, but the game just hard-locked during saves until I re-enabled it and tweaked the queue depth. Temps stayed between 42-55℃ with the stock heatsink. The loading curves are finally smooth, and the settings are locked in.
