Why is my Gigabyte RTX 5060 stuttering in Need for Speed?
Hitting 300 km/h on the streets and suddenly the screen just rips apart with horizontal lines; it's an absolute nightmare for immersion. I noticed my Gigabyte GeForce RTX 5060 GAMING OC 8G core clock was bouncing wildly between 2400MHz and 2650MHz, which sent my frame times swinging from 8ms to 22ms. I first tried forcing V-Sync in the NVIDIA Control Panel, but that was a mistake—input lag spiked to over 45ms, making the car feel like it was driving through molasses. I eventually used a tuning tool to lock the core voltage at 0.975V and pinned the frequency to 2520MHz. Checking RivaTuner, the frame time finally settled into a tight 11-13ms window, and the tearing vanished. I actually tried pushing it to 2700MHz at first, but the game crashed the second I hit a sharp turn, so I backed it off to 2520MHz for stability. Core temps are sitting pretty between 62-68℃ with VRAM usage at 6.4-7.2GB. Frame times are now locked at 11-13ms, though the overclocking process was a bit of a slog.
