Fixing Mass Effect Stutters
I was curious if a top-tier air cooler could handle the high-intensity calculations of this title, but I felt total despair when galaxy rendering spiked CPU temps to 88-92℃ per HWMonitor, killing my immersion. I tried limiting the maximum processor state to 99% via Windows Power Plan; while temps hit 78℃, the performance loss was severe and input lag became unbearable. I then used GamePP Fan Curve Configuration Panel to force 1700 RPM at 70℃. After testing, FrameView showed frame times dropped from 12-28ms to 8-11ms, while HWMonitor confirmed cores stabilized at 72-78℃. It's a relief to finally hit 1700 RPM
