Solving RTX Frame Time Spikes
I was building in RTX mode when frame times suddenly jumped from 8ms to 32ms, creating jarring stutters that totally broke my immersion. I tried enabling High Performance mode in Windows Power Options, but while clock speeds rose, the stuttering actually got worse. I then used the GamePP Resource Scheduler to set the game process to real-time priority and capped background services at 3% CPU load per AIDA64. After this, frame time fluctuations converged to 6-12ms via GamePP Frame Analysis, with CPU temps stable at 64-71℃ per HWMonitor and VRM at 72-79℃ per HWMonitor 72℃
