Solving I/O Blocking Issues
I felt totally disconnected while sneaking through dark tunnels; entering new areas caused 130ms micro-stutters that killed the immersion. I tried disabling write caching in Windows Disk Management, but that was a mistake—it actually increased loading times by 4s. I then used GamePP NVMe Queue Depth Configuration to increase the depth from 1024 to 2048. After this, read latency dropped to 8-12ms per CrystalDiskMark, frame times converged to 10-14ms per RTSS, and temps stayed at 44-56℃ per AIDA64. It's finally smooth at 12ms
