Fixing Thermal Response Lag
While swinging through downtown New York, I noticed jarring micro-stutters during rapid view shifts that totally broke my immersion. I tried setting the fan to full speed in BIOS, but the low-frequency resonance noise was unbearable, making it impossible to focus. To solve this, I used the GamePP Fan Curve Configuration Panel to set a 60°C jump point and locked the speed to 90% at 80°C. After this, RTSS showed frame times converged to 11-15ms, and AIDA64 confirmed CPU temperatures stabilized at 72-78°C, while CPU-Z tracked a steady 3.8-4.6GHz range.
