How do I fix image precision for Horizon Forbidden West on RX 7800 XT?
While pushing through dense foliage, I noticed some glitchy pixel jumping on distant leaves that looked absolutely jarring at 4K. Checking the GamePP DLSS/FSR Image Sample Calibrator, I saw the sampling weights on my Sapphire RX 7800 XT swinging wildly between 0.35-0.52, which basically wrecked the frame reconstruction. I first tried forcing Anti-Aliasing to the max in the drivers, but that just made the whole image look like a smeared oil painting—totally useless. I then dove into the calibrator, bumped the FSR sharpening from 40 to 68, and locked the render resolution at 100%. The textures finally snapped back into focus and that annoying tearing vanished.
