Why is my Kingbank Yin Jue 8GB DDR4 3600 stuttering in Tsushima?
Whenever I'm speeding across the open fields in Tsushima, my Kingbank Yin Jue 8GB DDR4 3600 hits a wall at 7.6-7.9GB. This memory starvation triggers aggressive page swapping, causing frame times to swing wildly between 12ms and 45ms—it's basically a slideshow. I tried dropping textures to Low, which saved about 0.5GB, but the game looked like a blurry mess, which was just frustrating. I eventually dove into System Advanced Properties and locked the virtual memory to a fixed 16GB on my fastest NVMe partition. Checking Resource Monitor, the hard page faults plummeted from 150/sec to around 20-35/sec, and my FPS finally settled into a stable 55-62 range. Weirdly, my boot times slowed down right after the tweak until I disabled Fast Startup. Temps stayed chill at 42-48℃ with disk latency around 0.8-1.2ms. It's a bit of a band-aid for low RAM, but it works.
