Why is Far Cry 7 stuttering on my Ryzen 7 7800X3D build?
While exploring the dense jungles of Far Cry 7, I hit a wall where the buttery smooth gameplay suddenly turned into a stuttering mess. It was driving me insane. I dove into the GamePP Resource Scheduler Panel and noticed some random background services were aggressively poaching L3 cache resources from my 7800X3D, causing instruction pipeline bubbles. My frame times were spiking from 7ms to a jarring 22ms. I immediately fired up the Process Priority Manager to force the game's main thread onto the high-performance physical cores and killed off the background noise.
