Why is my MSI A520M-A PRO choking in Dead Space 2 Remake?
Walking through those claustrophobic ship corridors, my MSI A520M-A PRO hit a massive wall with bus bandwidth while handling high-frequency resource requests. I spotted the CPU I/O wait times swinging wildly between 12ms - 25ms using AIDA64, which caused those classic micro-stutters whenever the engine loaded new textures. I initially tried enabling Fast Boot in the BIOS, but that was a disaster; it didn't stop the freezes and actually messed up my driver load order, leaving me totally baffled. I then fired up the GamePP Resource Scheduler Panel, bumped the game process I/O priority to Realtime, and killed all redundant background disk scanning services.
