Why is my Jonsbo CR-1400 ARGB Black letting my CPU throttle?
Dealing with the physics-heavy building collapses in Control 2 was a nightmare. I watched my CPU core temps rocket from 62,0C to 94,0C in seconds, which triggered the motherboard's thermal trip and tanked my frame rate from 90 FPS to a stuttery 32 FPS. The stock fan profile on the Jonsbo CR-1400 ARGB Black is way too passive, barely ramping up until 80,0C. I tried Windows Extreme Performance mode, but that just dumped more wattage into the chip and hit the thermal wall even faster. I eventually dove into the BIOS -> Monitor -> Fan Curve and dropped the trigger point to 55,0
