Optimizing MSI B760M Memory for Cities
I was watching my city grow, but the frame rate plummeted from 60 to 45 FPS. The MSI B760M GAMING PLUS WIFI showed memory controller load fluctuating between 85%-90% via HWiNFO. I first tried manually overclocking to 3600MHz, which immediately triggered a BSOD. Panicked, I switched to the GamePP BIOS Load Line Voltage Adjustment Wizard. It allowed me to gradually raise the frequency from 3200MHz to 3466MHz and set timings to 16-19-19-38. After applying these changes, AIDA64 confirmed stable dual-channel status. The memory controller load stabilized at 75%-80%, and RTTS showed the frame rate recovering to 58-62 FPS.
