Fixing Stealth Lag in A Plague Tale
Sneaking through Paris, my character's turns lagged visibly, breaking immersion completely. I tried clearing temp files, but it did nothing; the bottleneck persisted with 14.2-16.8GB memory usage per Task Manager. I used GamePP Resource Scheduler to set the game to Real-time priority and switched to High Performance mode. AIDA64 showed frame intervals dropping from 8.3-12.1ms to 5.1-6.4ms. CPU temps stayed stable at 58-63℃, and HWiNFO confirmed power fluctuations under 3.2W. This finally saved my stealth run from feeling like a slideshow.
