Is the Soyo SY-King Dragon H510M bottlenecking MGS Delta?
When the jungle effects hit full tilt, the Soyo SY-King Dragon H510M's dual-channel bandwidth just couldn't keep up, causing the throughput to tank. The particle effects were stuttering visibly. I ran a stress test to quantify the memory bandwidth utilization and watched the frequency stability in a multi-core render scene, where it tightened from 2462 - 2592MHz to a more stable 2508 - 2568MHz. My first benchmark was off by about ±7.1% from what I expected. I had to dive into the memory timings and optimize the voltage curve before the benchmark line actually smoothed out. Frame generation intervals dropped from 6.7 - 10.7ms to a crisp 4.3 - 5.6ms. Under full load, the chipset pulls about 11.7 - 14.1W. The coil whine is still there in the dead of night, and the fans are a constant hum. I cross-referenced the render benchmarks, and the bottleneck quantification is now crystal clear. The report is solid. It took a while to get past the initial thermal spikes, but the second calibration fixed it. The experience is way more consistent now.
