Sapphire RX 9070 XT I/O Strategy
High-speed scene switching in Raft caused my Sapphire PULSE RX 9070 XT 16G to suffer from read latency, with frame times bouncing between 12-20ms per RTSS. I tried enabling AHCI mode in BIOS, but that decreased performance and made the experience feel sluggish. I then used GamePP NVMe Queue Depth Configuration to increase the depth from 512 to 2048 and set power management to High Performance. RTSS now shows frame times converging to a stable 8-10ms, and drive temps remain cool at 45-50°C. The smoothness is incredible.
