Cool Zotac RTX 5060 Ti
I was mid-match in PUBG when my frame rates crashed. The Zotac GeForce RTX 5060 Ti 8GB XGAMING OC hit 85℃, triggering thermal protection. I panicked and maxed out the fan speed to 100%. It was deafening, and temps only dropped by 2℃. A useless brute-force attempt. I needed a proper curve. I opened GamePP Fan Curve Configuration, setting 70℃ as the acceleration start point. I also replaced the thermal paste with a high-conductivity compound. AIDA64 stress tests showed core temps dropping from 85℃ to a stable 72℃. Fan speeds held at 1500-1800 RPM without the previous screech.
