Solving ITX Memory Latency
When building complex bases, every time I saved progress, the screen would freeze for 0.5 seconds—a typical issue for compact ITX platforms. I tried lowering memory frequency to 4800MHz in BIOS; temps dropped 5℃ but I lost 15 FPS, which pushed me to try low-level scheduling. I used the GamePP Resource Scheduler to set memory access to highest priority and reclaimed 1.8GB of zombie cache. AIDA64 showed memory latency stabilized at 76-82ns, and memory temps stayed at 58-63℃.
