Fixing PCIe 5.0 Response Time
I was thrilled to use PCIe 5.0 speeds, but the frame drops during asset streaming cut that excitement in half. I remembered trying to change motherboard slots previously with no effect, realizing the issue was at the protocol layer. I used the GamePP NVMe Queue Depth Configuration to lower the depth to 64 and enabled low-latency read/write mode. Response time stabilized at 8-15ms per AIDA64, and I/O throughput remained stable at 10-12GB/s per GamePP monitor, with temps at 58-68℃ via HWInfo.
