Stop Underground Scene Freezes
Sneaking through claustrophobic metro tunnels was infuriating because every new station area triggered a maddening freeze. I initially tried disabling the write cache in the system, but loading times tripled, which actually made me excited to try lower-level scheduling. I used the GamePP NVMe Queue Depth Configuration to raise the depth from 32 to 128 and forced high-priority mode. CrystalDiskMark confirmed 4K random reads hit 65 MB/s, while AIDA64 showed temps at 50-55℃ and GamePP logged I/O throughput at 6800MB/s.
