Fixing SLC Cache Exhaustion
Managing a medium-sized manor, I found it maddening when scene transitions would freeze during the summer harvest population surges. I first tried disabling the write cache in Windows for stability, but loading times tripled per GamePP Hardware Sensor, which only fueled my desire for a real fix. I accessed the GamePP NVMe Queue Depth Configuration, increased the depth from 32 to 128, and forced high-priority read/write mode. CrystalDiskMark showed 4K random reads jumping from 45 to 68MB/s, and AIDA64 confirmed temperatures stayed at 52-58℃. The freezes are gone.
