How to fix memory latency on ASRock Z370M Pro4 for Manor Lords?
I was honestly hyped when I saw the frame rate finally lock back at 60! On my ASRock Z370M Pro4, the memory timings in 'Auto' mode were jumping all over the place during heavy city simulations, causing read latency to swing between 90ns and 130ns. I tried clearing temporary files and cache, but that only saved 500MB of RAM and did absolutely nothing for the latency—just a frustrating waste of time. I went into the BIOS, forced the memory frequency to 2666MHz, and manually set the primary timings to 16-18-18-36. AIDA64 latency tests showed a drop from 115ns to a steady 82-88
