Fortnite CPU Frequency Tuning
I was excited to play, but during simple map traversal, I noticed slight stutters that totally broke the experience. I tried enabling 'Ultimate Performance' in Windows Power Plan; the stutters vanished, but idle CPU temperature rose by 12℃ per AIDA64, which felt inefficient. I used the GamePP Power Plan Switcher to create a custom plan locking the minimum frequency at 3.2 GHz. RTSS monitoring showed frame generation time converged to 9-13ms, while GamePP Toolchain confirmed core frequency stable at 4.2-4.6GHz and CPU-Z saw jumps of 2.2-4.8GHz.
