How to fix GW3300 1TB bandwidth lag in FF7 Rebirth?
Seeing my frames lock back at 60 during team fights was a huge relief! The GW3300 1TB was hitting a wall with large model loads, causing read latencies of 20ms - 45ms and making my FPS swing wildly between 30 - 55. I tried turning off all shadow effects, which made the game look like a PS2 title but didn't stop the lagging—so frustrating. I went into Advanced System Settings, locked the virtual memory to a 16GB block on the SSD, and used a tool to set the game's I/O priority to 'Realtime'. MSI Afterburner showed frame times shrinking from 16-38ms down to a tight 12ms - 18ms
