How to handle frequency sync for Asgard Bragi II DDR5 6000 in FF7 Rebirth?
Whenever a flashy combined attack triggered, my frame rate would tank from 90 FPS to 40 FPS. It was a jarring experience, but it led me straight to the problem. The default timings on the Asgard Bragi II DDR5 6000 had a 15,0 - 22,0 ms sync delay when processing massive particle effects, making the 1% lows swing wildly. I tried low graphics settings first, which gained me maybe 12 FPS but made the game look like a blurry mess—totally unacceptable. I went into the BIOS, forced the frequency to 6000MHz, and tweaked the SOC voltage from 1,1V to 1,18V, while setting the primary timings to a strict 30-36-36-76. In the frame time analyzer, the jitter dropped from 18,0 - 48,0 ms to a steady 8,0 - 14,0 ms. I did try pushing it to 6400MHz, but the system just hard crashed during map loads, so I stuck with 6000MHz for stability. Temps are stable at 45,0 - 51,0 C. The frame curve is finally flat.
