Noctua NH-D14 Frequency Stability
While sneaking through dense rainforest areas, my frame rate would suddenly drop from 85 to 48 FPS per RTSS, which completely broke the rhythm of stealth combat. I tried disabling PBO auto-overclocking in the BIOS, but it locked my max frequency to 3.4GHz and cut performance by 18%, a compromise that left me very frustrated. I then used the GamePP Power Plan Switcher to force High Performance mode and set the game to High priority. RTSS frame time analysis showed the interval converged to 8-13ms, and AIDA64 confirmed temperatures stayed at 60-68℃, making it easy to switch
