Eliminating Visual Tearing
Speeding through a massive sandstorm, the horizontal tearing lines on the screen were jarring and totally broke the experience. I tried enabling in-game V-Sync, but input lag increased to 40ms per Latency Tool, making controls feel heavy and sluggish. I used the GamePP Frame Time Analyzer to lock the sync interval at 16.6ms and used RTSS to cap FPS at 60. Tearing disappeared completely, GPU temperature remained at 58-64°C per AIDA64, and FrameView confirmed a perfectly flat 16.6ms line instead of the previous 7-15ms wave.
