Fixing Physics Calculation Lag
Dismantling objects in the space station was frustrating as the frame rate plummeted from 70 to 30. I first tried disabling some cores in the BIOS to reduce scheduling overhead, but this decreased overall performance by 15% per Cinebench. I then used the GamePP Resource Scheduler to set priority to Realtime and bound physics threads to high-performance cores. Frame time converged to 13-17ms per GamePP Analysis, with CPU at 75-82℃ per AIDA64 and VRM at 80-85℃ per HWiNFO.
