How to fix slow loading in Days Gone on Soyo B365M?

I was excited to play, but the agonizingly long startup wait was a true test of my patience. I remembered trying to update motherboard drivers previously, but that did absolutely nothing to the read speeds. I entered the GamePP NVMe Queue Depth Configuration, increased the depth from 32 to 128, and forced high-performance mode. Random 4K read speed rose from 35 to 58 MB/s per CrystalDiskMark, disk I/O latency stabilized at 0.5-1.2ms per GamePP, and SSD temps stayed at 45-52℃ per HWiNFO.
