Ark 2 crashing? PCcooler RT620P and memory scheduling fix
I'm absolutely stoked! I finally knocked out the Ark 2 crashes by switching the memory scheduling mode. It was a nightmare—every time I loaded those massive dinosaur maps, the game would just vanish to the desktop without a word. Using the GamePP Memory Controller Load Monitor, I realized that while the PCcooler RT620P was spinning, the CPU's integrated memory controller (IMC) was overheating, causing data parity errors. I immediately flipped the memory management from 'Auto' to 'High Performance Enhanced' and tweaked the RT620P fan curve to trigger at 50°C. In an AIDA64 stress test, my memory stability jumped from 85% to a rock solid 99.9%, and map loads actually got 3 seconds faster.
