Why does Alan Wake 2 stutter during combat on Biostar?

Combat stutters in Alan Wake 2 were infuriating. I tried adjusting virtual memory, but it made things worse. I used GamePP NVMe Queue Depth Config to set depth to 2048. CrystalDiskMark showed 4K random read speed rose from 43-50MB/s to 66-74MB/s. HWiNFO confirmed stable 41-53℃ drive temperature.
