Optimizing PS120 SE Fan Curve
During intense alley firefights in Call of Duty 2, the sudden spike in fan noise from the Thermalright PS120 SE overwhelmed the game's audio, creating a jarring experience. I initially tried manually lowering the fan speed to 1200 RPM, but this caused the CPU temperature to rapidly climb to 85C per AIDA64, resulting in unstable performance. Using the GamePP Fan Curve Configuration panel, I increased the target RPM at 75C from 1500 to 1600 and optimized the curve smoothness.
