During combat, I complained about the CPU temperature hitting 95℃, which triggered downclocking. The default fan curve on the JGINYUE X99M-PLUS D3 was responding too slowly. I first tried increasing the fan speed manually, but it was ineffective. The noise became loud, but the temperature did not drop, and the throttling continued. I used the GamePP Fan Curve Configuration Panel to adjust the curve, setting the fan speed to 2000 RPM at 80℃. The temperature dropped to a stable range of 82-86℃. The noise changed from sharp to smooth, and the frame rate recovered to stability. A stress test confirmed the cooling configuration backup was complete.
