Stabilizing Ray Tracing FPS
It was jarring to watch my frames plummet from 70 to 35 during rapid camera rotations in the Matrix demo. I first tried enabling power-saving mode in BIOS to reduce heat; while it dropped temps by 8℃, it introduced severe input lag that made the demo unplayable. I used the GamePP Fan Curve Configuration Panel to shift the speed curve above 60℃ upward and set a 5s hysteresis time to stabilize pump cycling. Now, HWMonitor shows CPU temperature stable at 78-84℃, and CPU-Z confirms frequency is maintained at 4.4-4.7GHz. SpeedFan verified the fan hits a steady 1800RPM before hitting 80℃.
