Eliminating Driver Timeouts
Exploring ancient jungles was ruined by 0.5s absolute freezes that felt incredibly jarring in HD mode. I first tried formatting the partition and re-aligning 4K sectors, but loading speeds didn't improve at all, making the whole effort feel futile. I then used the GamePP Peripheral Driver Conflict Detection Tool to identify and disable a resource conflict with an old USB controller driver. After this, frame times stabilized at 11-16ms per RTSS, SSD temps stayed at 48-55℃ per CrystalDiskInfo, and NVMe response time dropped to 20-45ms per GamePP Hardware Sensor.
