Cool Onda 9D4-VH-D VRMs
Intense combat in Spider-Man Remastered was a nightmare because my Onda 9D4-VH-D VRM spiked to 85-92°C, causing frame times to jump between 12-28ms. I tried increasing the page file to 32GB, thinking it was a RAM issue, but my FPS dropped from 144 to 95. That was a total misdiagnosis. I switched to GamePP Hardware Sensor Page and cranked the fan curve to Performance mode, hitting 1800 RPM with a 75°C threshold. Cinebench stress tests confirmed the VRM temps dropped to 68-74°C. Frame times stabilized at 7-12ms, and the game runs buttery smooth now. No more thermal throttling ruining my swings.
