Managing Thermal Throttling
After thirty minutes in those lush forests, I noticed a sudden, confusing performance dive that felt like my PC was dying. I first tried lowering in-game shadow quality, but it only gained 3 FPS while HWInfo64 showed temperatures remained critical. I then used the GamePP Fan Curve Configuration to force fans to 85% at 75℃ and applied a -0.05V offset via the BIOS guide. AIDA64 stress tests confirmed temperatures dropped to 72-78℃, and CPU-Z showed the clock speed finally stabilized at a rock-solid 4.4GHz.
