Why do frame drops happen in Minecraft?
Watching the frame rate plummet from 120 to 45 FPS while loading a massive village in Minecraft (RTX) is frustrating. I blamed background apps and closed them, but the stuttering actually got worse and system response slowed down. The real issue was the power plan. I used GamePP Power Plan Switcher to set the CPU to maximum performance and enabled memory optimization for the Crucial DDR4 3200MHz 8GB stick. RivaTuner then showed frame time stabilizing from a choppy 22-35ms to a consistent 12-15ms. The village loads instantly now without any hitching.
