Fixing thermal throttling on Soyo SY-King Dragon H510M?
The wasteland visuals looked great until my frame rate tanked from 75 FPS to 35 FPS without warning—the stuttering was absolutely brutal. HWiNFO showed the Soyo SY-King Dragon H510M VRM zone hovering between 90°C - 96°C, triggering aggressive CPU thermal throttling. My first instinct was to undervolt the CPU cores in the BIOS; while it dropped temps by 4°C, the system blue-screened after thirty minutes. That was a total waste of time. I then opened the GamePP Fan Curve Config Panel and forced the mid-case auxiliary fans to 100% speed once the sensor hit 60°C.
