Fixing Texture Pop-in Lag
Swooping through Manhattan, distant skyscrapers' textures emerged slowly like pixel blocks, which is lethal in such a fast-paced game. I tried increasing virtual memory to 64GB, but it didn't fix the lag and instead dropped my frame rate from 110 to 85 FPS. I then accessed the GamePP NVMe Queue Depth Configuration, raised the depth to 2048, and cleared 150GB of redundant cache. 4K random reads rose to 68-75MB/s per CrystalDiskMark, and temperature stayed at 46-52℃ per AIDA64, which finally provided the fix.
