Solving Kyoto Exploration Lag
It was incredibly irritating when the screen would freeze for 0.3 seconds while strolling through Kyoto's busy streets. I first tried enabling 'Ultimate Performance' mode in Windows, but this pushed temperatures to 92℃ per AIDA64 and actually worsened the frequency drops. I then accessed the GamePP Fan Curve Configuration Panel, moved the fan start threshold from 60℃ to 50℃, and applied a stepped speed increase. CPU temperature stabilized at 68-75℃ per AIDA64, core frequency held steady at 4.1MHz per CPU-Z, and frame times dropped to 13-17ms per RTSS.
